Symposium Speakers

Jeff Wiesner is the Director of Product Management at Tamman in Philadelphia. With over 20 years in the software development field, his teams have designed and built websites and applications for Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations. Jeff is passionate about educating individuals and organizations to create accessible and inclusive digital experiences.

Jessica Schultz is a UX research manager and accessibility expert known for her high-energy, humor-filled presentations. With a Master’s in Human-Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington, and CPACC certification since 2019, Jessica brings practical, hands-on tactics and life lessons to her audience. She also co-chairs the BECU digital accessibility Community of Practice.

Carolyn Chesler supports BECU’s digital delivery teams with accessibility QA, education, and awareness. Since 2014, Carolyn has worked as an international consultant, performing cross-platform accessibility QA evaluation, WCAG 2.1 auditing, and conducting accessibility workshops for notable organizations including New Zealand’s Dept. of Internal Affairs and Fortune 500 companies.

Wally Zielinski is a front-end engineer with over a decade of experience in creating digital experiences for the web. Holding the Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) certification, Wally believes in the power of community to drive progressive and equitable change. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, he tackles disability justice with a deep understanding of inclusion and equity.
